A brief pause! [Update]

Howdy patrons,

I’d like to thank you for your support and patience during these past few months. I took a massive step back from all Doodle for Food-related work due to a mix of life events and major burnout. While I’m already doing better, I need more time to sort through plans regarding my comics and art. Because of this, I’m pausing the Patreon page until I can get a better grasp on how I’d like to approach 2023 (and the years to come).

Pausing this Patreon page means you won’t be charged for your pledge, but you’ll still have access to past content, and when I start posting regular content again, it’ll be here for you to enjoy right away.

If you’re wondering what I’ll be doing during this time, I have a list of top-priority items. I’d like to tackle the following before returning fully to Patreon and public posting:

Creating and maintaining an art schedule that complements my other work obligations. This goal will help me figure out how much I can reasonably expect to accomplish in a week without overcommitting and burning out again.
Rebuilding my backlog of comics and comic ideas. I’d also like to stockpile ideas for future Patreon-specific events and art.
Organizing and scheduling larger projects and events for 2023. Larger goals and projects keep me motivated. They’re like the road map for my business.
Restocking the online store to reopen in 2023. This includes setting up a functional shipping station, restocking inventory and shipping supplies, prepping enamel pins in batches, and updating Etsy shop listings.

So, even though I’m pausing the page for now, I want to reassure you that I’ll be back. It didn’t feel right to leave the Patreon page ‘up’ while I take the time to figure this all out. I’d like to thank you again for your understanding and support. I’ll keep you updated as everything progresses.
