I'm Back! + YOU decide a cool thing [Patron Poll]

 Hi all! I’m now officially back from my break and in the office aka the spare room in my house (just a little freelancer humor for ya). I’ve got a few quick but important updates and then a bigger thing to announce, so let’s get to it!

Comic Updates:

Normal uploading will resume for the Good Boye Guild comics. Patrons pledging $3+ should start seeing those later this week, and everyone else starting next week.

Naming Characters:

A few months back I was collecting suggestions for character names for the dogs in the RPG dog series. Things got a bit hectic and I never pulled together the poll. I will be doing that in February. The current idea will be to gather suggestions from the public and have patrons decide from a selection of finalists. There will be individual polls for each character to keep things as simple as possible. If you’ve already submitted a suggestion, it’s been written down.  I know this never got resolved, but it’s on my radar. No worries! These cute dogs will eventually get their names!

Commissions:

I’ve been receiving a lot of requests for commissions, which is very cool and exciting! However, it means there’s now a bit of a waitlist for portraits, as I’m trying to not overbook myself. From now on I will be announcing commission spot availability HERE FIRST before opening spots to the public, so patrons get first dibs. You can read about my commissions and see some examples in the shop. If you’d like to reserve a spot for the month of January, please PM me here or email me at doodleforfood@gmail.com by Friday, January 10. I currently only have 4 commission spots available for this month. Heck, if you’d like to reserve a spot for any future month this year, you can let me know that, too! 

Anniversary Mini-print:

Doodle for Food’s 7 year anniversary is at the end of this month, and I wanted to celebrate the beginning of a new year and another year of making comics by sending you all another patron-exclusive mini-print! Here are all the deets:

• To avoid as much damage as possible, these prints will be shipped in envelopes, which increases the postage cost. For that reason, I ask that if you’d like a mini-print that you pledge at the $3 tier or higher for the month of January.
• This offer is being run through a newer Patreon feature called “Special Offers” which should automate the process of collecting shipping addresses from everyone.
• YOU will be deciding the theme! Below is a poll where you can vote on your favorite of four dog-centric options. This poll will close on Friday, January 10.
• I will reveal the winning option once the poll closes and I finish the design.
• Prints will be shipped out the first week in February.
• There are other things but those are secrets I will reveal once the 'campaign' goes live. ;)
