February Update! Mid-month checkin

Hello, lovely patrons! 

January flew by and February seems to be passing by just as quickly. I'm here with a mid-month check in. 

Firstly, we officially reached 100k followers on Instagram last week! I haven't had much time to celebrate, but I am super excited to have reached this milestone so early in the year. I think it's a sign of all the great things in store in 2019!

For the last two weeks I was prepping to take a mini-vacation to visit some friends and family for a few days. Unfortunately, I was stricken with a stomach virus the week of my trip and had to cancel. While a bit of a bummer, I'm using the buffer I built for my trip to my advantage. If I can stay at least a week ahead of deadlines, I think it'll help me feel less rushed each week. Here are a couple of panels from the comics I created ahead of time for my Webtoon series:

I'm currently working on the last two comics of the Bork Report mini series. One will be posted tonight for silver tier and then everywhere else tomorrow morning. Here's a preview of that:

The response to bringing Bork Report back has been amazing. While I intend to make more comics about this group of reporters, I think it's time to take a break and move on to another mini-series theme for now. 

I'm also working on the first Patreon-exclusive President Pupper comic, which I'm hoping to have finished later this week. President Pupper has some of my favorite jokes written for his mini-series, so I'm excited to finally be sharing those. Here's a sneak peek of the comic so far:

I mentioned in the last update that I was opening commissions in my shop. I wasn't expecting the number of requests for large family portraits I received, so I had to close the portraits early. One of my bigger priorities in the next two weeks will be completing the portraits and sending them off to customers. Here's a collection of the portrait sketches I've completed so far. I still have 2 or 3 more to draw:

 This is my first full day back to work after being sick for a week, and it feels kind of weird to look back and see what I've been able to make. I also have a bunch of really fun and cute ideas that I think you'll enjoy. Right now I'm just focusing on clearing off the extra work on my plate in order to assess where to go next (I will probably be back with some Patron polls to get your input as well). Thank you for your patience while I work through everything!
