Quick Update + Leaving on my trip!

This is it, guys! Tomorrow I’ll be on a plane and headed on the biggest adventure of my life so far! This isn’t  the usual monthly recap, but I did want to check in quickly with you all to talk about some things.

Now for the mini update:

In case you missed my previous announcements, this month I’ll be travelling to Finland for an all expenses paid artist residency program! I’ll be joining a group of nine other comic artists to create a project during a 2 ½ week stay in the Finnish countryside.

I intend to use part of that time to plan some new projects. I normally don’t have time to brainstorm bigger projects with my day-to-day workload, so I’m very excited to give myself some time to think up cool new ideas.

Not a whole lot of interesting things happened in July other than prepping for the trip and building a buffer for my Webtoon series. In fact, I feel I was rather quiet online because of how busy I was working behind-the-scenes, so apologies for that! (That's also the reason there may be typos in this post. I'm hella tired haha)

While I’m in Finland, there will be regular updates on the Webtoon series, and I’ll be re-sharing the original Bork Report comics on my other social media pages.

I do apologize if the first half of this month is quiet on my end (I’ve been told internet will be really limited where we’re staying). However, when I return I expect to have some really fun and exciting things to share with you all!

This is my first big trip overseas, my first artist grant/fellowship, and the longest I’ll be away from home travelling. I expect this trip to have a huge impact on my work and mindset moving forward, and I can’t wait to discuss all the things I learn/think up along the way.
