February Recap & Behind-the-scenes

 My dearest patrons, I wrote this month’s update and recap for you in advance, as I’m currently peddling my wares at Emerald City Comic con. If there’s anything amiss in this post, please blame it on my still-developing psychic abilities. They are both a blessing and a curse.

February Recap

Things were a bit hectic this past month. I was so inspired and focused on my mini-series, that I had trouble coming up with ideas for my slice-of-life Webtoon comic. Despite some slow-downs in my initial production schedule, the buffer held strong and everything turned out fine!

On top of finishing up the rest of the Dogs with Jobs comics, I focused on getting ready for ECCC. I re-ordered merch, counted inventory, and revamped my table display. Thanks to you guys, I was able to invest in some hard cased luggage, which means merch is much better protected when flying. Woo!

As I mentioned in my yearly goals post, I would really like to focus on building up the online shop and just designing more cute things. Between con prep and comic making, I ordered and designed a few new items. Mainly, I’m finally adding comic prints! Here are a few that will be available:

It inspired some really fun and cute comic ideas. So be on the lookout for more of Tuff Fluff sometime this year! 

Finally, I managed to sneak in some work on the Twitch channel. I made some panels for underneath the video area that look like so:

Coming Up:

In March I’ll be attending two conventions, so most of my time will be spent prepping for those. I finally put together a little convention schedule:

Cons are a huge source of inspiration. I always leave with a mountain of new ideas. I’ll be drawing autobio comics to recap those weekends and post them for Silver+ patrons. I had a lot of fun creating them last year, so I’m excited to make more. Here's one of my favorite stories from a con last year:

This month’s gold patron livedraw will be a little different! We’ll be playing pictionary on top of me drawing doodle requests. The stream is Thursday, March 15 from 7-9pm cst. I will also begin creating Spring/Summer avatars. More to come on that!

The new merch will be available in the shop early next week! I'll post another update when they launch.

Other than that, the rest of March will be spent recovering from travel, rebuilding my comic buffer, promoting the new items in the shop, planning the next mini series, and getting ready for Awesome Con. EASY PEASY.
