April Update and Behind-the-Scenes!

Holy smokes March flew by, and April is moving fast, too! Honestly, where does the time go? I’m back with this month’s update, and it’s a doozy.

Over the past few weeks I jumped on any chance I could to attend conventions, so I’m excited to announce I’ll be at 5 more shows this year! Here’s my current schedule:

While prepping for Planet Comicon at the end of this month, I’m also putting together merch for the remaining shows. I’d like to use this time to really test out new designs and ideas, so there’s been lots of planning and designing happening on my end. Here’s a sneak peek at one such item:

That’s right! Enamel pins! These bad boys will be getting here right before I head to Kansas City, and I’m so excited I could puke. I also ordered more stickers and an official banner. Here’s what those look like:

In other big news: the compliment cards for Pretending to Grownup arrived! Look look look:

I’ll be writing and signing 2500 cards over the course of the next couple of weeks. Currently I’m just at 1000 cards signed. I plan on binge watching a ton of shows while I write, so if you have any suggestions for something good to watch on Netflix, let me know! I’m almost through with Gilmore Girls and I don’t know what I’ll do with myself after. Probably stare at a wall or something.

On top of all that, I’m busting my butt to get some buffer comics queued for the travel-heavy weeks ahead. It’s like my gran always said: buffer when you can. Okay, maybe not, but buffers save lives, people. That’s a fact.

I hope you can forgive me for not making this month’s update a vlog. I ran out of time to schedule filming and editing it, and I figured a blog update was better than no update at all! Here’s a picture of my dogs to make up for it:
