Not many ppl know it exist. Stars don Cheadle and chiwetel ejiofor. It would nvr win in a poll but I think u would enjoy it. It’s one of the higher rated black films on IMDb (7.3). Which u know it a feat in itself

Fun facts: Rick Famuyima the director of this movie was in the store along with his childhood friends when Roland tried to buy some grits. Malinda Williams who played young Alicia was 29 years old when this movie came out. She is six years older than Stacy played by DeAundre Bonds, 10 years older than Sean Nelson young Mike & older than Sanaa Lathan adult Alicia. I don’t understand why Malinda didn’t play adult Alecia. Can we please get reactions to the following coming of age movies: House Party Boyz N The Hood The Inkwell Roll Bounce ATL Dope
