Here's an example of how to animate the wave using scene time and nodes. https://i.imgur.com/IRpVcHU.png This allows us to easily update the length (and speed) of our animation without having to adjust keyframes. We multiply the frame by the number of total cycles we want in our animation, then multiply that number by tau (τ) ( τ == 2 * π). Then we divide the result by our total frames. If you right click your "end frames" number and select "Copy as New Driver" you can paste this into the "Max Frames" field, then if you update the number of frames in your animation, the animation will automatically update to seamlessly loop, no need to mess with key frames. By plugging this into our geometry nodes we can control it from outside of geometry nodes.
