Added 2023-11-30 23:22:32 +0000 UTCThe Russian Officers Killed project on Twitter (also known as X), which is the authoritative source of Russian officers killed in combat, has confirmed that Russian Major General Vladimir Zavadsky, Deputy Commander of the 14th Combined Arms Army, was killed on November 28 by a landmine.
The incident reportedly happened in a rear area and it is unknown if Zavadsky was on foot or traveling in a vehicle. It is also unknown if he triggered a Russian mine or if this was an act done by the Ukrainian Special Forces (SSO), The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), The Defense Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (GUR), or insurgents.
Zavadsky is the sixth general confirmed killed in action in Ukraine and the 281st senior officer.
