I basically did it all with geometry nodes... 'cause any transform output can be routed to a join geometry node... lol. e.g.: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8gnu1yl58fj9zd5/2023-02-02-glowing-hex-tunnel.png?dl=0
This was fun, but is in no way reproducible...
