July 2024 Summary

I'm gonna try my very best to write monthly summaries for Patreon to reflect on the work I did for the previous month. I think it is going to help me feel better about my own work and keep me motivated for the month to come.

July was the busiest month I have had in a long while but I am still so happy with the outcome of it all! I worked very very hard on having everything prepared for Närcon, my very first artist alley experience. Then just a few days later, I had my shop open up again after a month's hiatus!

💛 NÄRCON

I don't even know where to begin with this, there was so much! I had a lot of new merch debut at Närcon and it was all very loved which warmed my heart. The very first look at the Birthday Illustration for Zeke was displayed there, but I think everyone's favorite print was Zeke in the abortion tee. I saw one guy almost falling over laughing at it, and it makes me so happy that my artwork has such a joyful impact on people!

 Other than that, I had my Zeke Candy Bag Charms debut there as well! I got the idea from Lisa (@imjustsomebody3 on Twitter) and she helped me get them made too, I am so thankful! They all sold out at Närcon which made me so happy!

My Dungeon Meshi Linking Charms were loved as well as the Attack on Titan ones. The character buttons were popular as well!

Overall, Närcon was a huge success for me and I made back my table + travel + hotel costs 3 times over. I am so thankful for all the support and love I got, not to mention the new friends I made! My table neighbours were SUPER sweet and I loved to chat with them!

🐝 SHOP OPENING

I know technically that my shop launched 1 August but most of my preparations were happening in July so I'll give myself a pass to gush a bit about it!

My shop launch was a huge success and I broke my sales record from last time in just 4 hours!! I'm still not over it, I am so overwhelmed with joy and love for everyone who has supported me!

I worked very hard to make new items for my shop and create more variety to the items I offer. Zeke, Pieck, Porco, Reiner and Bertolt are still my bestsellers and it makes me happy to produce merch for these characters!! I hope I can continue to make merch of them forever!

Currently my preorders are open until 22 August and that's when I will order the merch. Production time is about ~1 month so I would say to expect me to ship everything out by the start of October!

⭐️ GOALS FOR AUGUST

This month is going to be a calmer month for me as I need to take it easier! Currently my only goals are:

• Finish commissions

• Make Jikupiku illustration

• Finish at least 4 candy bag charm designs

• more NSFW

• monthly sticker design

• if I have time; draw Pikuchari!

That's about it! I'm terrible at closing posts but hopefully this post gives you some insight into a bit behind the scenes and I hope it will motivate me to work on my goals!
