Two Things

Two things. One a little personal, the other about the game.

1)  So, what I’ve been up to?(professional)

RPG Maker MZ is out and I decided to stop using MV. The screenshot is from MZ. It also has better mobile functions.... look at the-

Let me explain. At first I didn’t care… but as I saw how much better it was… I set some “ground rules”. If RPG Maker MZ passed on all of them, THEN I would consider it.

1.  Use Dragonbones animations on battles, maps and H-scenes. We are not going back to sprites. CHECKED.

2. Be able to import the project so I would not need to rewrite tons of text. CHECKED.

3. Plugin support like battler and core. Action animation so I can ame the skills do whatever I want. CHECKED.

Extra reason: I believe when you work TOO MUCH on a software, you kind of start to get afraid of tring something new. It's like the hours are wasted... Idk. I think it's better to move on from MV. The time is right.

So… Yeah. If you guys have the time, check on youtube the new battle animations. They are 3d now and are not trash, like it was before. Good lord I swear, it was the same animation system from RPG Maker 2k 20 years ago. I am serious.

That also made me look at how unnecessary complex the game is. I mean… I am still cool with having to eat, but we have upgrades, craft armor and everything can break down…. UGH! I will make another post asking you guys if you mind some simplifications.

I want to be honest and say that… even though the update is almost done, I still prefer to wait so I can tune it better “everything” and wait for more plugins to come from Visustella.

That’s it… I guess.

2) So, what I’ve been up to?(personal)

Well, more or less by 15 August my father started feeling some pain in the side of his body... he thought it may be some kidney stone, but we also trying to avoid going to the hospital (you can see how well Brazil is dealing with Covid in the news).

Well, eventually he got annoyed with it and decided to go. That’s when this happened:

SR: Hey, since you are going there anyway, why don’t you ask for those serological Covid tests?

Father: “Ah, you want to know if that thing we had was Covid?” (In January a parent come visit us from USA and we got a really strong flu from them. We eventually got better, but I could tell the symptoms were different. Some months later, when the pandemic got into the news we started wondering if it wasn’t it.)

SR: “Yeah, I heard that this exam shows the antibodies of Covid… so if you have them that means you actually had it I the past. Cool, no?”

Father: “Sure, I will see it”.

Father: Look, it’s here. It was Covid.

SR: Really? Let me see it!

<Stalker reading and researching the meaning of the different antibodies types…>

SR: Bruh.

Father: See?

SR: Ehrm… I am not a doctor and I may be wrong but… there are different antibody types. There is one type that get’s produced and stay on your system for months…

SR: And there is one that is the immediate answer. You get this one if you have been infected between 5 and 7 days…

Father: …

SR: …

SR: Yup, you have to second one. I am pretty sure you have Covid. Like… right now.

Father: What? Nonsense! The doctors would have said something!

Spoiler: They called him later. Yup… we found out on a whim.

My mother got some headaches and I a sore throat. My father got nothing, lol. Nothing much aside from that, but we got better already.

We are all right though… that only shows how dangerous this thing is. I hope you all are well. I will make a poll about the system and gameplay changes soon.
