News about the next update and Central Krost

Hey everyone, how are you doing?   

Let’s talk about the new update. First the date:

 Well, I will try to release it on day 26 of this month, exactly two weeks from here. I know I said that I would try to catch up, but this “monthly update” business is really harsh… Also, I am indebted to my artists now, I literally hit red and could not pay him. Since we are friends, he told me “It’s okay, pay the rest next month” but I hated it, even so. When these things happen, I have to “slow down” the developing, so I can hold out some of the money to make the next update more viable. That is not the case… Yet. I would say “no H- next update” but I think I will be able to squeeze something out of it, we shall see.

Now for the new features:

Well, I decided to implement new mini-games! “Damn it Stalker, you already got that damn food system, Diana keeps starving and this fu-“ woah, calm down, it will be optional. Since it’s a RPG game which the feature is basically, the battle system, I believe new mini-games open up nice possibilities for new experiences (Even h-encounters, for the matter).

I will be able to implement two new mini-games (One for certain). Diana now will be able to fish! Perhaps I can even make a competition or some scene with a mermaid, who knows? Lots of possibilities!

Second one… Fistfighting! Well, it’s basically beating up people in one on one fights, like in witcher games. (I am trying to make a system, like pokemon where you see Diana’s back and the gameplay is a rock-paper-scissor style, like Suikoden duels) I will try to implement this in the update, we shall see.

Now for content…

Well, since I don’t like spoilers, I can just tell you that Diana will be able to explore (for a time) Central Krost… One of the biggest cities in the empire.  (The  one in the title is an alpha) Also, more Khannard and Israa in the update.

As for the last update, some people asked some questions and I decided to clear some stuff up here, so I will be posting a little FAQ: [SPOILERS 0.07]

- “Is there a right order for to the jobs in Mar Haddad?”

- No, it does not matter.

- “Okay, I am positively sure that you didn’t put all the militiaman there.”

- I did, but there are some that Diana can’t find out.

- “Explain.”

- A lucky Diana may come to the militiaman’s aid before he passes away. An Intelligent Diana can convince people to not kill each other. A clever Diana can find out people in hiding... And a agile enough Diana can be quick enough to check on falling building without hurting herself.”

- “Right... And should we protect the city or the mansion?”

- You should do both.

- “And about Jack?”

- That’s you who decide.

PS: Only Diana will be able to fistfight, Zack don’t like these things. He also don’t like fishing. Stick in the mud.

PS2: PERHAPS I will draw you another map, Diana is not in Lar’k Gamael anymore.

There is a way. There is an item called "Bloody Storm, it's a dish from Mahr Haddad. If you cook one and eat it, you gain the status "Well feed". Every stat goes to 110% (FOR A LITTLE TIME), making a 10 be a 11... Well, it changes the story and he remembers that in the future...

Then someone who like me focused on raising Diana's Combat Prowess won't be able to protect both, right? Also, is there any benefit of letting Jack go free after defending the mansion?

The only way to do that is sending at least four soldiers to defend at the beach, THEN chosing to go to the mansion. There are six soldiers in total, but to be able to get some of them, you need minimal status requeriments, ex: - To get to the soldier who is injured before he dies, you need LUK 11 or more.

Hi, awesome game! I love the characters. I have just one problm with the pirate raid, I'm not sure how to protect the city AND the mansion...

At start of your turn in battle, press ESC and choose 'Row'. There you can readjust your formation when you've got pushed back by the demon. You can only use this every two rounds though. I recommend Zack learning Force Barrier and Diana the healing skill. With Zack in Stoic Mode, let him defend in first row with active Barrier. Diana attacks from the middle row and throws in the occasional heal if necessary. You still can get unlucky, but it's quite doable that way, I didn't have major problems there.

Just started playing your game and I've already lost interest at the demon in the test after dying 4 times in a row due to him being able to push back a member to another row. Imo you should remove that mechanic or at least lowering his dmg because getting isolated and getting one shot on top of that is very irritating.
