October News

Hullo lads! Any news from your sectors of the frontline?

Let's see. Lots have been going on. Things have been super rough for me but I finally have some sunshine in my future.

The biggest thing to share of course is a WIP plate from my new animation in progress- I'm sure you guys have seen the wildly popular "interstellar demon stripper" from that Rick & Morty episode?

No? here she is.

I have been inundated with requests to draw her. ILL DO YA ONE BETTER.

I'm making an animation of her. It will be three phase, but relatively short as I'm still wanting to put most of my effort in the deathclaw animation. She just sort of... happened. So I had to react!
There will be three phases; two 'sex' views and a 'finish'. It will have music (hopefully toggle-able), sound, and color. And fluids. Everythang.

In a Nowak First, I plan on posting one of the 'sex' phases to FurAffinity. But the final version will be available only to Patrons in the $5 tier and above. I want to draw more people into these hallowed doors. Some artists are KILLIN' it on Patreon and I don't really know how. I'm still trying to find my way... Best as I can figure, I gotta start making tons of MLP art and comics without backgrounds and only the most laughable causalities these furry porn comics have (what is actual sex?).

Hey? Should I make a comic? I suppose that could be a thing.

...What else? I got my hours cut at work. But, you know what that meme means. More time to study, and also, more time to draw weird sluts.

I kind of want to stream that Passpartout game for you lads. I was also considering making a messenger handle for Patrons to chat with me when I work.

Did you know I love drawing? I really do.

With more time I can make more animations. The big pics are fun and all but... I can't help but feel that people tend to enjoy animations more. Feel free to weigh in.

Also did you like the fishies? <:
That pic took soooo long. Aquatic images tend to demand lots of water- as you can imagine, very taxing to the artist. Rain, the ocean, 6" of water on board the ship, droplets on the camera- as always, I've spared no expense.

Ya know what? Here's my Discord if any of you'd like to add me.

Originally I was posting once per month to both sites, but with school starting up again I have not had the time. On the subject of time, with how much I put into each piece I don't feel justified trying to get money from people just to see something "early". Thanks for your input.

They're making a killing by having more publicly posted images on FA. You're putting far too much content behind your Patreon, which is hurting your patreon's growth. If you had a bigger fanbase then you could survive more off "paywalling" a large chunk of your content, but I don't think you do. And it'll continue to only grow slowly if you keep posting exclusive non-public content. At least, if you want to continue to mostly make original works and not rely on using other IP's. Every patreon that I support right now just sells access to things like WIP's, high resolution copies, early access, and even PSD's. They're all pretty successful and it's a great way to do things. Please consider it.

I've always been a big fan of your animations, especially becasue its actually animated instead of tweened or moved in flash. Posting WIPs or sections of content for "recruitment" of new patrons makes sense and I'll see a lot of other patreon people do that. Maybe if you do decide to do a comic posting the sketches without text as a preview for people with than the incentive for people to sign to see the full piece? Also, some artists already had a large following on FA/Inkbunny/etc... that they were able to shift right to being patrons, so some were just lucky in that aspect.
