Greetings, friends
We’re excited to bring you some excellent news this month:
No delays! That’s right — both of our game projects are on schedule for their July updates. We've tightened the workflow, cleared the obstacles, and are on pace to deliver everything just as planned. You can expect timely content drops, builds, and previews throughout the month with no unexpected hold-ups.
Let’s talk corruption. Let’s talk choices. Let’s talk... pets?
For those of you exploring the Heretic Path in Inquisitor Trainer, we’re continuing to expand this story branch with some juicy content. This month’s focus will be pushing the narrative deeper into forbidden territory, giving your morally questionable decisions more weight, flavor, and unexpected consequences.
But here’s the twist — a new mechanical addition is being integrated into the Heretic path:
Yes, you read that right. Heresy just got way cuter and way more dangerous.
In this month’s update, players walking the Heretic path will be introduced to a Tamagotchi-style demon companion — a living, breathing (sort of), evolving entity that will grow alongside your character.
It hatches from a strange egg you may or may not be supposed to touch.
It has moods, needs, and a mischievous personality.
It may influence the story or even your stats depending on how you raise it.
It might even reflect your alignment based on how you treat it...
This new system is our way of adding more life and interactivity to the narrative branches, especially for players who enjoy replaying paths or digging into worldbuilding details. The pet is not just a gimmick — it’s tied into the Heretic Path’s core themes of control, temptation, and unnatural bonds.
Below is a sneak peek at what the demon looks like once it’s hatched.
Let us know what you think — and maybe give it a name 👀
