The Wire was his first acting job. One of the reasons I love the show is because they used real people too. Like Snoop also.

It was actually a funny interaction between Lester and them because Lester agrees with McNulty. After McNulty and Kima left, Lester came back in and said to Pres, “Take a look at those properties!” I think that’s important to connect to what happens later.

The scene where he's having trouble with the lawnmower seems unimportant but that was a moment again where his eyes conveyed his conflict. Missing his more familiar occupation .
