Like the first film, I absolutely adore all the "normal" family moments the characters have and the way they interact with each other. Having Elastigirl doing hero work with Bob struggling to take care of the kids was awesome. Enjoy :)

2024-08-16 14:07:24 +0000 UTCThe "Mr. Mom" scenario with the wife going "back to work" was great, and I wish they'd focused more on that part. They should have dropped the superhero ban legislation stuff because I think the focus on that was convoluted and detracted from the family stuff, which is the strongest part of this story. They also could have shown Bob struggling in his new role without regressing his character growth. Yes, Evelyn is a terrible villain. Her motives make no sense, her being a "twist" villain was clearly telegraphed and hamfisted, and the characters' powers and abilities weren't used properly because they needed to fit things around the Evelyn storyline. Again, not a terrible movie, but this one could have been way better.
