Mufasa was voiced by the incomparable James Earl Jones, who played the king in Coming to America, and is probably most famously known as being the voice of Darth Vader in the original 3 Star Wars movies. :) James Earl Jones has one of those iconic "God" like voices. A truly amazing actor.
