I really hate what they did to Pete. It was so random and out of character. He had been chasing Monica for weeks and he was just ready to give her up for this. I don't understand people who want to get beaten up and risk serious injuries. It feels very self-destructive or even like some form of masochism. But you're right, the issue was more about him not putting Monica first. If you don't know, the guy with Robin Williams is comedian and actor Billy Crystal who is likely most known for the rom-com When Harry Met Sally. Robin and Billy also starred in the movie Father's Day which was released the day after this episode aired. Fun fact: Their cameo wasn't in the script. They just happened to be nearby where the show was being filmed and the writers asked if they wanted to make a guest appearance. Their scene was completely improvised, including Joey's line and Monica's line at the end (Courteney Cox actually forgot what she was supposed to say). I am down for a Jumanji reaction! I also recommend Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, Patch Adams, What Dreams May Come, The Fisher King, Bicentennial Man and Flubber. Another fun fact is that Christine Taylor who plays Bonnie is married to Ben Stiller.

The two of them happened to be at the studio for something on that day and one of the Friends creators asked if they’d like to make an appearance. That entire scene was completely improvised, including Matt Leblanc chiming in and Jennifer Aniston with the napkins Even Courtney Cox was really interested in watching them because when they asked what she was going to tell them, she really did forget. Hopefully you’ll get to see him in some movies. These two along with Whoopi Goldberg hosted a special in the mid 80’s - 90’s called Comic Relief to raise awareness for poverty. If you have seen The Princess Bride, Billy made an appearance as Miracle Max. He also played Mike Wazowski in the Pixar Monsters Inc franchise. His most well known movie is probably ‘When Harry met Sally’ I just need you to know because at the time, the audience was cheering for both, but I understand you are young and don’t know who Billy Crystal is.
