For me, the first episode isn't really about what advice Ross is giving Joey, but more about the fact that in that moment, Joey didn't want/need advice. Sometimes, people just need someone to listen to them and be supportive rather than insert their advice. It seemed to me that Joey just needed time to grieve his first larger role.

2023-10-24 15:39:19 +0000 UTCIn the first episode, I love when Joey turns around to reveal himself, that was so satisfying and Matt Le Blanc is such a cutie sitting in the recliner. It was perfect that Eddie has issues with reality so they could just tell him that Chandler have been roommates for years and have no idea what Eddie is talking about. I also love Chandler and Joey jumping up and down and then hugging. One of my favorite moments of the whole series. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ In the second one, when you watch the season 2 bloopers, you will see that the baby playing Ben kept saying words when he wasn't suppose to and it's so cute!! I love Ross and Rachel so much and it's so weird watching them at this point of their relationship. I also watch Nick's reactions and he's just started season 5 and so much has happened with all the friends and I forget what you've seen and what you haven't.
