Joline Reference Sheet
Added 2024-11-27 18:00:12 +0000 UTC3/3 and maaaybe the last proper reference sheet I'll make for the pilot that I'd like to make.
I don't have the bulletins in this one like the others, so I'll list them here:
- Cloo's aunt (By marriage)

Like Rudy, there were some changes. Gradual changes each time I drew her, but definitely in relations.
The second picture shows the slight changes over time. Her apron was red, now blue to counter Cloo's red. Her bonnet was like a hood, now it's more ideal and protrudes noticeably. The final change so far has been her hair. It was pulled back and didn't have much character. This new hair is more stylized, but not too flashy and doesn't contrast with her personality. There's a nude layer that shows off her long, braided hair, but I don't think it's worth showing right now.
Her first appearance was standing next to Cloo in the background of an NSFW animated comic between a granny and fairy. I knew I wanted them related in some fashion. At first I was settled on cousins, but I thought she looked a little too old to be a cousin. Then maybe mom? No.. Aunt. And so it stuck. It feels like she needs to be some sort of authoritative figure to counter shenanigans for this small cast.
