Update: Your Subscription Billing
Added 2024-10-16 14:00:12 +0000 UTCHey! So Patreon has emailed me that due to their new plans with Apple, they are required to have all supporters in general have a switch in monthly payment. So now your billing is different, but honestly for the better.
Instead of having to pay on the first of every month, your renewal will start on the day of the previous month you joined. Let's say you joined on the 20th, it will now be the next 20th and not the 1st.
I don't see any issues with this change, as it sounds way more fair all around, I had no idea that was an option. And by what Patreon has said, it looks like supporters don't need to do anything.
But just a heads up if maybe you're emailed and a subscription renewal is on a totally different date. I know that would confuse me!

2024-10-17 02:05:22 +0000 UTCIt really just effects new members or people who cancel/rejoin, extant folks like me have our renewal date assigned to the 1st since it's when we paid the month prior, basically.
