Hey Chris! Grace here! Didn't want to leave a burning question lingering. Congrats on your preemptive engagement! How fun to both be in the know and ready to look cute on the day. Personally, I freaking love the idea of a French candle stick to commemorate! How uniquely, specifically special. I guess you gotta think what's personal to you, ya know. Initially my brain went to watches or embroidered handkerchiefs or tattoos, but I also love the idea of something weirder and more personal. Other thoughts include cufflinks, necklaces, pocket watches, or toe rings. Maybe it's even something you won't know now but it will present itself when you're there, so best to keep an open mind. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I hope any of this rambling helps and early congrats again!

I’ve got a burning question! My partner and I are going to get engaged this summer (we’ve already talked about it and really want to). We’re gay cis men so wondering what to do to commemorate the engagement… we don’t want rings because we want to save that for the wedding but we want something to symbolise the engagement. We’re going to be in Nice when we propose… is a commemorative French candle stick or something of similar stature weird to buy as an engagement token? I love the thought but can’t imagine me posting it on Instagram 🤔 any suggestions on engagement rituals when you’re not buying rings yet would be greatly appreciated!
