LOVE ACTUALLY BONUS POD

I watched this movie for the first time in years and had a lot of the same feelings, just a bad movie overall! And as for suggestions for other movies to watch, maybe like She's All That, or the Sweetest Thing like someone else said. I used to LOVE that movie, its so stupid, but me and my friends laughed so hard at it.

There’s even a line at the end when the Hugh Grant love interest (Natalie) jumps into his arms at the airport and I couldn’t tell what they were saying until I saw it on a DVD once with subtitles, and it’s “god you weigh a lot!” Which is supposed to be a joke because she laughs and says “oh, shut your face” but I was like ?????! Leave this woman alone!! Oh yeah as for walking dead guy and the assistant, I don’t think they’re actually dating. Snape calls him her boyfriend and she says “NOT my boyfriend” all suggestively so I guess they were just friends through work and came to the party together as dates. (Seriously though whenever she’s on screen I cringe so hard haha)

The Sweetest Thing would be a great movie to review! Classic goofy Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate at her best!! Plus there’s a great singing scene with a dick stuck in someone’s throat!! So good!! 🥰🥰

Under the Tuscan Sun…I’m basically the lesbian late millennial Chip here where if I watch it might remember it’s about something other than Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh being a lesbian couple.

Also, CRYING with laughter because I've never realised how dumb the "it's Christmas, we tell the truth" line is!

I think Martin Freeman and Joanna Page's characters are meant to be stand-in/body doubles for a big movie! Like, when the main actors don't want to do full-frontal etc? I would love love love you to review more Richard Curtis rom coms - 4 Weddings and a Funeral, Bridget Jones, Notting Hill...they're like actual guilty pleasures to me. The fatphobia, the power dynamics, I know I should hate them, but I love them. About Time is a legit great film though.

Same😉

I love Honey and I kinda don’t wanna watch it ever again because I’m afraid I’ll have the Chip experience of realizing how bad it actually is haha

The movie sounds truly like an absolute train wreck lol Movie recs: Pretty Woman Legally Blonde Mean Girls 50 First Dates 13 Going on 30
