July updates!

Hi! Tis now the month of July, let's hope this month will treat you all kindly!

First off, I apologize for the lack of content during the past few weeks. If you guys didn't know, I'm currently hit with a hard art block. I've been actively fighting this off by doing a lot of scribbling and more studying by myself. If I make something that's at least decent enough, I'll post them! I always take artblock as a sign of "preparing to level up" haha

Once I beat the artblock, I'll start making up to the missed requests and contents last month and of course I didn't forget about Pokefashion!

Regarding commissions, I will be open for headshot commissions this coming Sunday. The form for the slots will be up for 12 hrs in patreon (9am SGT/GMT+8) before it'll be up publicly after.

However, if you guys are also interested! After headshot commissions are done and over with, I will open ANOTHER commission in patreon which is going to be like the previous opening but with an addition of mini doodle page.

So keep a look out for a notice about it if you are interested! As always, thank you for sticking by. Whether you're here since day 1 or a new patron, regardless if you're here for a short or long time as a patron, I really appreciate you all!

AAa thanks for this very thoughtful comment ;; I always tell myself this but just having somebody else telling it, its much more reassuring and I'm very thankful ;;;; It makes me appreciate my position that I have such understanding and supportive people. TT_TT

On a separate note, I'm totally looking forward to getting a sketch page commission from you!

The best artworks come from artists who mix love and passion into their efforts. These things can't be forced, and taking them out from your work will only reduce the quality. That's how I see it, at least.

Don't worry so much, Zue! I understand that you might be feeling stressed out and pressured now that you have people paying you periodically for your content, but there's nothing good to come from that. You need to understand that WE understand that type of issues, no human being can always be in a top shape, and so everyone who decided to support you should've taken into account that sometimes you'll get an art block and either the quality will worsen or the amount of content you share will thin out for a time. Besides, being a patreon isn't "buying a service package" from an artist, it's still essentially a donation. Take the time you need. Do something you enjoy while you can't draw to your best ability, relax yourself until you feel that you're back in the shape. Forcing anything will have a negative effect in the long run, even if you manage to push yourself to reach a deadline now, the more you're pushing yourself out of stress and sense of obligation to your patreons, the less you'll enjoy drawing, essentially taking out the fun and hobby part out of drawing and making it essentially work only.
