THOUGHTS ON BLAKE LIVELY also this movie was both ahead of it's time in theme (female friendship, body positivity, etc.) but also a product of its time (fashion...)

I have such fond memories tied to this cheese fest, I read the books in middle school with my girlfriends and the movie came out just before I moved from WI to KS for high school. I still pop on the soundtrack from time to time when I need a serotonin/dopamine boost π
