Have either of you watched the Murders at Starved Rock documentary on HBO? It was a wild ride and is centered around the state park that is in my soon to be backyard! My parents went to high school in the area, I've h̶i̶k̶e̶d̶ sauntered through the park many times and my grandparents knew the accused since the family were basically neighbors! Also apparently there is drama related to the history of the park and my uncle wrote a book explaining the likely truth of the native tribes experiences versus the legend the park is named after. Super interested to see how the DNA evidence plays out!
