2 things: The worm raisin story made me immediately think of an old Casey Neistat video where his wife was eating a box of raisins and then suddenly realized that there were maggots in the box. Also, my mom had a waterbed in the early 90s. I was at most 5 but I remember a weird siphon situation to clean it every few months. It involved a second story window and a garden hose. I think it was similar to fill it. I also think it had a built in heater to help with the frigid water.

I had one of those retainers with the fake teeth! STORYTIME. When I first got braces when I was like 13 my jaw/bite was really good but bc genes are wack the two teeth on either side of my two front teeth never grew in so with the braces they just made space to eventually get implants. my mom and sister have the same issue but a fucked up bite so when they had braces they just got all their other teeth moved up to fix all that. And funny enough, one year ago today I finally got the implants. Like 10 years after the whole debacle started. It’s so nice not having to deal with the retainer anymore. Hahah sorry. I had to comment about it ;b
