OKAY, WHO WATCHED MISS AMERICANA!?

We definitely did! What a ride! What are your thoughts/questions/conclusions if you've seen it???

OKAY, WHO WATCHED MISS AMERICANA!?

Comments

Even though I have been a fan of Taylor swift off and on throughout her career, I was hesitant going into the doc because of some of her issues with privilege awareness. However, I turned out truly loving the documentary and it’s message: women should be aloud to have opinions; no matter how strong and not matter how frivolous men decide you and your demographic are. So excited to here y’all’s takes!

So inspirational in terms of seeking identity and perseverance. I think Taylor Swift is truly as wonderful as she appears, and those opposing her do not truly understand what she is about.

Watched it, not being a fan of hers, but I really enjoyed it. I knew about her legal issues and such, but it was interesting (if not a little heartbreaking) to see it from her side. Really well done doc!

It was amazing! I love Taylor Swift and this made me love her even more! I really liked watching her create her music, that was so cool to see.

Back when she had long curly hair and a sparkly guitar Taylor Swift was one of my favourite singers and my first concert, so this doc was really emotional to watch. I've definitely grown up with her and I remember almost all of the events referenced. When I'm back home next week I'm going to watch it with my mum because I feel like she'll get a deeper understanding of why I'm still such a fan of Taylor.

I love that she compares a human baby to a tamagotchi πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ #notalone

I watched it but what I really want to watch is your video critiquing it!!!

I’ve watched it. Made my friends watch it. Made my mom watch it. Made my hairdresser watch it. BIG FAN. I absolutely love her and what she’s doing.

I really loved it, I'm glad she feels that she can speak her mind now without the fear that people aren't going to like her. She is unlearning the things she was told she had to be/like/do when she was younger which is definitely something I'm working on at the moment

I truly loved the doc, made me like her even more. Are you guys going to go to her tour or festival whatever its called?

I'm a massive fan and met her in rep room during the reputation stadium tour so... my opinion is hella biased but I LOVED it so much. She's been a class act for the past 13 years and she has not deserved 99.9% of the bullshit she's been put through. I hope that this perspective on her life will give the general public a sliver of empathy for her. Watching the "commentators" whose clips they used of them talking shit in the movie "apologize" has been hilarious. Not that they'll actually start treating celebrities like humans anytime soon but whatever

I wasn't a fan of her before I watched it, just liked a few songs, but I definitely liked her a lot more afterwards. Don't really know what in the documentary that made me like her, but it worked lol
