Greetings!
I have been setting things on my computer, since I had to deal with some major system meltdowns, I had to get a new hard drive, and rebuild my install from scratch. But Through all the adversities, the good news is I've been also learning new tricks. So I'm proud to say I'm finally feeling more comfortable making SMP things, and as proof of concept, this post comes with shinies.

I've revisited 2 Hermaeus Mora themed mods, which had personal edits. Might as well call this "My Version" but that's already the brand of another known and excellent modder :D.

The first revisit, is to a very old mod called Hermaeus Mora Priestess, originally by Comvex.
The old version is very old, but some time later, C5Kev did a "Legendary" version for it, which added a few things, and made some improvements. However, I went a bit beyond, and tweaked the Bodyslide conversions adding a bit more of detail to them, and even going as far as to restore some models that were not present in the newest versions, and even make some new ones.
But the coolest thing I added is probably the SMP-enabled loincloth. I' was quite satisifed with the result as it's one of the first times I attempt making SMP, and it just works.

The second revisit, is a long delayed project I had promised to someone. The Mora Dark Host suit project came at the request of someone with a vision, for a mod that wasn't just an outfit, but an actual gimmick for a viable playthough build.
And that's exactly what it has become now thanks to it's expansion.

This new expansion introduces a more immersive way to wear the suit in the game, starting with the drinking of a substance, that allows the player to merge with a "symbiote".
In more concrete terms, the suit gives the player a transformation power, buffs and abilities, and a way to progress through ranks into becoming more powerful.
This involves the consumption of enemies, similar to what vampirism and lycanthropy are like. This mod was originally developed by Esuriddick, and later tweaked and further improved by yours truly. My latest additions include a configuration spell that gets rid of the annoying obligation to browse inventory and try to understand how the suit's piece blend in together, as it's all now part of a configuration menu that can change the suit's aspect immersively while in game.
The drinkable substance can be found at Septimus Signus' Outpost, along with an introductory notebook.

As a result, with this expansion, one could consider this a full transformation mod, alternative or maybe even complementary to vampirism and lycanthropy, and before you want to ask, no, I don't think they're incompatible, these are completely separate mechanisms.

I have also created 2 recolors for the suit, in red "Carnage" style and a pink one cause pinky slimy sounded cool and alien. Due to the nature of the equipping gimmick, I was not able to add the color variants into the transformation mod, but they're available as replacement options, separately.

DOWNLOADS

The first mod has the usual Requirements for outfits mods. But this one also requires C5Kev's Hermaeus Mora Priestess from the Nexus, as I did not want to repack the whole thing without giving proper credit to the ones who worked on this before me. The installation is simple. My pack should win any file conflicts, and my plugin should be used instead. You may want to remove the CalienteTools folder from C5Kev's version as mine works differently.
