Okay so I was frothing at the mouth, chomping and shaking this like a dog with a new toy. I have many thoughts that I gotta get out and I'm not okay (i'm fine, Daemir just makes me feel lots of feelings). For the non-serious thoughts, I love how sassy Daemir is on the inside? Like that line after the heir jokingly says he's boring as always? Funny. This man is funny without trying. Now to my serious thoughts, he really does mirror Astryn and Erwan. He (and Revna probably? I haven't seen much of her to really be able to make the right opinion) is our closest ally and on a romance route it makes it come off even harder like ajshdjkahd, fearing for our safety like Atheris does, listening to our troubles and offering the help he can (even if he'd rather not), and also doing his best to keep us safe? God, I'm weak for him... His line about fire is funny because I remember from the original how a choice he made went and it feels apt to point out that our enemy is also blessed by the god of fire (allegedly...). It also made me think about Astryn cause of how he described fire, but that'll have to wait for when she comes into this version proper. I also like how fear is a big thing with Daemir. He's not afraid of love, but he finds it to be a weakness and is terrified of who he'll become BECAUSE of it? Peak. I'm sorry, it's peak and I fear I can never look at any of the other love interests again because this guy just hits every note in a character that I have to love and ajdhajskhdaskjhd. Also, also, also... He wants to LOSE, he wants us to be RIGHT about our views, I'm physically on my knees crying sobbing and begging to be able to just hold him when the threat of war and death isn't looming over us because raaaaaaaaa. AND HE CAN FEEL "... that spark again the one he refuses to name. He likes it. Even if it terrifies him." LIKE SIR YOU CAN'T JUST DROP THAT ON ME AUGH. I also can't stand it when he asked if we were a threat... Like the only thing threatening about me is how much i LOVE YOU.
