Surprise, I'm back! Okay so lets start this! Jarean... Oh, if Daemir didn't exist I would probably go for you or Nicholas lol. In my ongoing run, I hired him and just out of morbid curiosity I chose to not hire him once. I immediately restarted the side story because I couldn't handle him being angry and bitter with me. I like how he says that Richard didn't raise his sword at us when... He did previously lol. His loyalty to us is cute and I would want him to be safe and happy in the coming days. I do wonder if perhaps his unknown past will come and help us? It seems interesting... Nicholas next because hoo boy, this guy's family dynamics is just as bad as ours it seems. It's funny in the cosmic sort of way that his family is similar to ours, an ill father who won't listen to his kids despite them doing trying to help and then siblings at each other's throats for various reasons. Nicholas, depending on how you play the prince(ss), can also come off as a reflection of us, Atheris, or one of the next people I'm going to analyze in this comment (lol). Constantly butting heads with the eldest sibling and not having hope for their father, but still at least putting up appearances. It's also sad? That Nicholas feels that we're the only one that can make him feel better. Like, I do really like him, but I also feel like that's not the best thing for either of us. Finally the twins (and a little bit of Clara). First off, very big Richard and Atheris/Prince(ss) vibes. While not as violent and volatile (that we've seen) as Richard's relationship is with Atheris and has become with us, it's still pretty rough. I did feel that Daemir wasn't being honest with his feelings at first, and he played this unfeeling ruler really well (hurt my heart a few times, ngl) but just like ice, his mask is slowly cracking. Clara helping push and crack the ice more? Chef's kiss. Help our boy's heart thaw and enter a new spring with ̶m̶e̶ us. Revna, I can understand that she's upset with him and honestly? She's a little scary lol. She knows just the right ways to push and attack Daemir that makes it REALLY hurt. Her analysis of Clara is clouded and I think might also be fueled by her not wanting to let Daemir be correct. That's how I read her from all the interactions we've seen on screen so far, maybe it'll be a surprise in some off-screen moments, but I doubt that. Finally, just a bit for Clara, unknowingly being our wingman with Daemir here, thank you girl! Her speech about being true to herself and also how she handled the situation with Richard before does make me think Revna is being just a lil salty and wants to lash out a bit. Slightly biased from her actions this behind the scenes look, but I think it's what's right so far from what we have seen.

2025-08-14 21:24:20 +0000 UTCAs per usual, writing my more surface level thoughts before I go back in and replay but, hoo boy, my prince is desperately holding onto all of his siblings and not letting go as he looks at all these other families and thinking, "I don't envy you, but I also don't wish THIS on you either" lmao
