A Snippet of New Sublo

Here's a quick WIP clip from the next Sublo and Tangy Mustard episode (s3 e5 Catering)! There are a lot of group shots I've been putting off, so much of the episode isn't contiguous yet, but here's a tiny spoiler-free chunk from early on.

Also, a general update:

Tabling at the Book Doof event went better than I even hoped. A bunch of friends and new faces showed up to grab the S&TM Production Notes zine and just hang out. Having the show playing on a CRT TV was fun, I'd like to do it again if I table more, especially now that I've got all the stuff ready to go. The whole night was a blur, but I remember getting into a heated discussion about Sex and the City/ And Just Like That outside. I sold out of a few smaller zines. We even sold a bunch of the Blu-rays Kevin made! All this stuff will be available online very soon too, I'm setting up a BigCartel store page.

That same weekend, TCAF was also very fun. A few friends came in from out of town and it's becoming a highlight of every year for me, even though I'm just helping out a bit and going to the parties rather than tabling myself.

The past couple of weeks have just been trying to regain momentum on animation after the zine, events and workshops took up so much energy. We had a big heatwave this week which made it harder to work, but things are good now and I'm cruising pretty fast on the episode.
