WARPTORIO WARP MODULE EXPLOIT (coming later this weekend):
Possibly Cheating Mike's progress on the (Vanilla-applicable!) Warp module exploit video is ongoing. I'm about 80% trough the main video editing step, and then it's just the overall sound overhaul/balancing (and Snarky Editing Mike possibly throwing a few yellow tekst tantrums here and there). It's been a bit more complicated to put together than a usual episode, but I still expect to finish it this weekend though (before sunday's stream)
SWITCHING ON the 1kSPM BASE TONIGHT! (Some Sort of Summary Stream)
On today's stream (which starts 16:00 CEST, 7 hours from the moment of this post), we'll transition reearching from our starter base to our brand spanking new and shiny 1k SPM base! I will go over the entire process so far, which will make it a nice sort of improvised summary of the first 100 hours of the playthrough, so even if you're not into streams much, you may want to tune in for the first half or so of this one ;)
A WILD TOTALLY UNRELATED VIDEO HAS APPEARED!
What can I say... I got bored during the airport waits and flights, so I revisited the OG idle/clicker game I played a couple years ago: Cookie Clicker. Don't worry, I'm not gonna get sucked in again, but there is ONE so called "shadow achievement" that nerdsniped me... It's called Speed Baking 3, which requires you to get to 1 Million cookies in under 15 minutes, which has been presumed impossibe to get without extreme luck or extremely fast clicking... (that's why it's one of the handful of "shadow" achievement among the hundres of normal ones).
So, what happens when a factorio player trained with many years of base automation and build order optimization gives it a shot? Well, find out in this video below!
WARNING! If you're prone to getting sucked into idle/clicker games, do NOT watch! Cookie clicker can keep you busy for weeks,months or even years. But then again, how is that different from Factorio haha.

For most (maybe including me) it's probably better to learn a fancier editor (davinci resolve seems to be popular). I used windows movie maker in my youth and looked for something similar, ended up with shotcut. I don't have an editing style with those standard fancy effects and such, so shotcut fits me resonably well. It used to crash a lot, but with recent updates it's not so bad and it usually manages to autosave before a crash, so that's nice. Also some of the major annoyances have been addressed, but not all. So yeah, it's kind of a hate-love relationship we've got going lol

Well, maybe, the comment section on the just released homeworld-2 is getting out of hand a LOT more than I thought, may have to address a few more things perhaps. Anyway, I will start preparing for the stream soon, and I will finish the couple hours of sound-balancing tomorrow morning. If nothing majorly explodes in the youtube comments, the video should be up by saturday afternevening CEST!
