Yui and Kamuy's godly mother. Suyaiko is an Elder Yokai that rules over the day and is one of the two most powerful deities in their regions. She is a Nine-Tailed Fox sporting 7 of her 9 tails as two of her tails were given to her daughters to aid them in their journeys.

Fun Facts about Suyaiko:
- Suyaiko's tails each represents a power she wields. Those powers are: Illusion, Creation, Undying Flame, Unyielding Strength, Agility, Psychokinesis ( Mind ), Longevity ( Seen as an immortal because of how long she has lived and how young she still looks but is in fact not immortal. ) and Magical Arts.

- Suyaiko relinquished her tails of Illusion for Kamuy and Creation for Yui.

- She was at war with the Elder Yokai of the night but their battle saw no end and they agreed to a truce in order to keep the mortal plane in balance and not damage it any further.

- Suyaiko fell in love with a mortal which would eventually lead to her daughers.

- As part of the truce, Suyaiko hardly engages in the mortal plane just like the Goddess of the Night.

- Suyaiko wields a katana named Eternal Sun. Despite its simple appearance, it is one of the most powerful of weapons capable of handling her fire.
