February sticker progress
Added 2023-02-17 21:37:06 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, it's become pretty obvious to me that I won't be able to get the Wizard Barn Party comic toned and printed in time for ECCC, so I took a little break today to work on February's winning sticker design: the Bobtail Squid! This little round baby won the poll by a landslide lol.
If you look at pictures of real bobtail squids, you might notice they're *extremely* colorful (bioluminescent, in fact!), so I'm trying to figure out how I want to tackle that. These fish stickers don't HAVE to have true to life colors, as with my previous sunfish sticker (sunfish are not actually purple irl), but I'm not sure yet which way I want to go. The spots in this sketch are too busy, so I'll be cutting down on those. I'm currently leaning towards something in the bottom row maybe...
