Monthly Meeting Announcement: Join Us Tonight at 9 PM ET on the Discord

Hello everyone! Hope you are well. Tonight at 9 PM ET, I will be hosting our monthly meeting in the Defunctland Patreon Discord. ALL MEMBERS are invited to attend and hang out. It's usually a fun time. Here is some general information about the meeting for new members. Existing members should read the first bullet point!

• NEW: I will no longer be posting time of meeting announcements on the Patreon. Instead, with every meeting (including Game Night and VIP Meetings), I will only post one text update (like this one) on the Patreon feed. If you have notifications turned off on the Defunctland Discord, please make an exception for #park_intercom, which is used sparingly and only for announcements.

• If you do not have access to the Discord, you must connect your Patreon account to your Discord account and you will be automatically added to the server. Here are instructions on how to do that: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Getting-Discord-access

• Monthly Meetings take place in the Meeting Room voice channel on the Discord, and the chat is in the #meeting-room channel. Only I (Kevin) speak in these meetings, but anyone at any tier can listen and comment in the chat. I read the chat as I speak.

• The meetings generally last around an hour. The first ten minutes is welcoming new members and a general hangout. The next twenty minutes are typically project updates on things I am working on. The last half of the meeting is a Q and A. Everyone is invited to ask me questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

• If you are unable to attend the meeting, I sometimes post text-based meeting minutes if there are any important updates. Since this is our first meeting in many weeks, I will be posting a text recap of the meeting as well as an explanation of this year's projects, probably around a week after the meeting to avoid spamming your Patreon inbox.

• I am dedicated to safe and friendly environment. In the text channel, please refrain from harsh or offensive language, and treat others with respect. I have never had an issue before, and I will not tolerate anyone making anyone else feel uncomfortable. Just be nice, cool, and have fun with other people that share similar interests. Again, never had an issue. You're all really nice.
