The plans! They do nothing!

Okay, hopefully not nothing. It's taken me a while to really get a handle on how much I can do without leaving myself bed ridden for a week, but I think at this point I've mostly got a handle on it.

So, since I figure you guys might want to know (and have some feedback regarding priorities) I'll list stuff out here.

First, my limits; I can generally write one chapter and edit two per day, or maybe write two chapters if I'm feeling well. Posting them on RR or here is just copy and pasting, so that I can do quite a bit more of, as you might imagine. Putting a book up on Amazon or Draft2Digital is about the same level of effort as editing a chapter; I've got to do a lot of double checking things, but not a lot of creative decision making, just making sure I haven't done anything horribly dumb.

As for current obligations, I've got four active fictions on Royal Road right now: Diary of a Teenaged Mimic (which is probably what brought most of you here, I know); Drag.Race, the final book of the Artifice trilogy, Blue Bloods, the first book of the Blue Bloods series, and Interview with a Superhero, my submission for the Royal Road Magazine contest.

I write and release a chapter of Diary of a Teenaged Mimic every day, so that's half of my spoons per day used up until, ah, at least August Twenty Twenty Eight.

Since I'm doing one chapter a day of Blue Bloods for its first week, that leaves me with the bandwidth to edit one (and post) one chapter a day of something else, or put up one new novel somewhere.

As you might have noticed, I've been putting one chapter a day of Drag.Race up here on the Patreon; at the same time I'm scheduling them for release on RR, one per week. Once I'm ten chapters ahead here, I'll pull that back to once a week, then do the same with Blue Bloods.

Once a week before Monday I have to write a chapter for Interview with a Superhero, so that's one day a week I can't edit anything; I'll probably double up on scheduling Blue Bloods the day before, and there will be two days without a new Drag.Race up here.

Once a month I plan on writing an 'alternate POV' chapter from the world of Mimic; you've asked for a couple already, so I'll start with one of those. Which means I've got five days to write and post the first one here.

Once I've got ten advanced chapters up here on Patreon for Blue Bloods and Drag.Race, I'll start putting eBooks over on Amazon, and I'll put them up here as I do. The real work with that is trying to make sure the eBook doesn't format like complete ass, then tweaking it a bit since all the tools I have available leave it not quite right, and finally jumping through the red tape hoops to get it up on Amazon and elsewhere. Putting a copy up here, compared to all the rest, is pretty simple, so once there are ten advanced chapters for my Tuesday and Thursday RR fictions, you should see a bunch of eBooks show up here.

After that's done? I'll start writing new chapters for things that are on Hiatus over on Royal Road. That's Blank, Cat's Paw, and Iron Angel. Eventually, when the first novel of Blue Bloods is done, it'll go on hiatus and I'll start putting one of those three up; hopefully I'll have a full novel's worth of chapters written for one of them. As I write them, I'll post them here, so eventually there will be a novel's worth of advanced chapters for each fiction here.

So, yeah. Plans. I guess I'd like to know if you guys have a preference for which of those three (Blank, Cat's Paw, or Iron Angel) gets a new book written first; which alt-POVs you'd like to see from Mimic, and which books you'd like to see as eBooks first. I'll probably do a Poll for the new novel when that gets closer, and if I wind up with a long list of alt-POVs and no real pull to write any of them from my end, I'll do one of those, too.

Thanks for listening to me ramble, and thanks again to all of you for supporting my writing!
