0.1.9 release (please read)
Added 2023-05-05 08:14:26 +0000 UTCHey! I am here to announce that today I'll be dropping 0.1.9. It's basically 0.2 but with a few missing elements. However, there is some caveats.
Caveat 1: New Tiers starting next month
From next month on, the 0.x.x builds will be for $10 patreons only. This is a transition period where I feel guilty for just dropping that on you all, so 0.1.9 will be public for the rest of this month. $5 patrons will still get to play the more complete 0.x builds and 0.2 should release before June, so if you don't want to spend any extra you can just continue playing the $5 build by then and have the same experience. I'm trying to do this transition gracefully.
Caveat 2: It's not finished
This new strategy is to seperate between finished and unfinished builds. 0.2 needs a lot of writing still and I'm just not getting it done in time. I feel you've all waited long enough, but that does mean that this build is slightly unfinished. The unfinished parts are mostly the new company events, like movie castings etc. I advice you to not do these, but you can have a look if you want to see what's there so far. Just expect lots of dead ends so perhaps save your game before you do so.

That's all! I just want you all to play this and see what I've done so far. I've made so many massive changes and it's becoming a little depressing not getting to share it with my community so instead of having to write for a few more weeks without that motivation, I'm hoping to get some positive feedback and get enthused again!

Once again for good measure: The password will be changed on the first of june and the 0.x.x builds will only be available to $10 and up patrons from then on. But I think 0.2 should definitely be done by then so it's not like you'll have to go back to the 0.1.4 build :)
Please do let me know what you think of the new features, story and company mechanics! I'm scared and excited to share this new direction with you all. I'm honestly really proud of it and I hope others like it just as much.

2023-05-08 07:14:44 +0000 UTCim getting a simmilar error, i have noticed if i reload the game it will start working again for maybe one or two days, but then stops again. It doesnt seem to matter if you save before or after the error occurs so for those who are hitting the same thing, save the game and reload for a temporary work around until it can be fixed.

2023-05-07 20:12:06 +0000 UTCThere's not a lot of ways to generate status yet, but there isn't really a use for it yet either. The status mechanics are in place but right now the only way to generate it is through outfits which are a tiny drop in the bucket and it will take many many days to gain a star that way. This will obviously change as I add more ways to generate status through events and social mechanics, but that's all for a later update. I'm trying not to work on too many things at once this time around :)

It seems to start on sunday week 1. On saturday I can see % chances for success with dev stats but on sunday it starts saying "Success rate = _success"

If it's not it's just because there's still a lack of ways to build relationships. That's on the list for 0.3 :) Glad to hear you're enjoying it regardless!

That makes sense that the fatigue system kicks in but sleep is still locked because you're supposed to start the party quest before getting tired. I'll fix it ASAP. For now, after meeting with the friend and sister, just buy an outfit, put it on and go to the party after 20:00 without exploring too much and it should work :) This isn't an issue anymore after the party.
