MAiH2: date update
Added 2022-08-24 17:11:07 +0000 UTCRight now I'm working on the date mechanics for the game. I am working on a little introductory story and I'm adding features as the story asks for it.
This will be a large part of relationship building with the girls in the game. I tried making this in MAiH1 but the code was already a mess by then, so I'm doing it right from the start this time.
Relationships with each girl will now have four categories this time: friendship, romance, sexual and professional. They will influence each other slightly but you can have a 100% professional relationship with a girl without being friends by just hiring her a lot, or have a beautiful friendship without ever fucking (not that many of you will do that I assume ;)).
Your date will have a score for each of these. Do you take her to a romantic place and ask her about herself a lot? You'll get a nice romance boost. Do you take her out for coffee and just talk about work? That will boost your professional and friendship levels. Do you take her to the club and fuck her in the bathroom? That'll score low on romance but high on the sex stat.
Just like in MAiH1, you will have to take each girl's personality into account as well. More introverted girls won't like you taking them to the club and prudish ones won't appreciate a date to the stripclub. This will all count into the success of the date, which will determine your relationship boost at the end of the night. Most dates will score at least a little on each stat.
As with most features, I am trying to make this as modular as possible. For now I am focussing on creating the basics: one or two date locations, a few different conversation options, but I can easily add more later on.

Yes, the game will be written for male genitals but you will be allowed to pick pronouns between he/she/they so you can play a trans person :)

But that will take a while. After that I am excited to start adding more functionality. Fow now many of these stats are mostly there for future reference as I'll be busy laying down the foundations for a while to come.

I will implement a gig mechanic where you can get a dayjob for some quick cash and being a pornstar will be one of the options there. The friendship, romance, sexual and professional stats are with regard to the player's relationship, they're not about the girl's personality. Those are different stats. You can have four different relationships with each girl. Porn stars will have a high sluttiness stat, making sure they're in for basically anything and will put out quickly :)
