Nearly there!

I hope you all had an amazing christmas! Things are going very smoothly now with the game. I've gone straight back to work after christmas and finished a few important things:

• Figured out a way to make the quests work perfectly. I can just set up quests with all their objectives and only have to put in a small bit of code each time the objective updates. It's really smooth, light on code and works great. It also tracks rewards and when quests are done
• Coded clothing changes. This was something I completely forgot, but is a pretty essential part of the game. Now you can pick up some nice clothes from Loren Gray and actually put them on. I will add nudity later on with buffs & nerfs, but for now you'll have to wear some clothes ;)
• Worked on the conversation system and thought up a clever bit of code that checks if you already said something. This means you can't just spam the same question over and over to get your conversation score up but you'll actually have to have a normal conversation. Some questions give more points at the start of a conversation as well, to simulate the natural buildup of actual conversations. For now the answers are short and dull but that'll change in the writing phase soon.
• Added an actual settings menu. Never knew you could do that in Twine but apparently you can. 
• Added three difficulty settings for combat (easy = 75% damage and enemy hitchance, hard = 125%)
• Added three pregnancy risk settings (less = 75%, extra = 125%)
• Added on/off switches for four types of extreme sexual content for those who want to add a little extra to their game
• Started adding the second quest to the game, which is a necessary story quest where you set out to gather some essential equipment with Emilia Clarke. This will include a first 'boss' which you can tackle in several ways, both non-violent as well as violent
• Discovered Emilia Clarke isn't actually called "Amelia" so changed all that

So, with all that done I'm getting really close to a state where I feel comfortable sharing the game with you all. The following still has to be done before I will release the pre-alpha:

• Code an actual failstate in combat. Right now you can comfortably keep fighting with 0 health :p
• Finish the second quest
• Actually get over my procrastination of fixing the remaining merchant bugs
• Finish up the conversation system basics

That's it, basically. Still quite a bit of coding, but I think I can get some of these down pretty quickly. 2021 release still? Seems very likely right now!
