Update / Release / Flash

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well.

Firstly, the new update should be published later today or tomorrow.

The new update will feature a rich content in action, story telling, juicy new upgrades, some new areas, a new cut-scene and of course, as always, new sexy content.
But that is not everything. A big notable change will be introduced with this update.

As most of you are aware of, Flash will be gone at the end of the year and a lot of our game is based on Flash.
It is a lot of stuff like: the game's intro, the Sex Archive, some Fatalities, some Full Body Views in the Ego Chamber, some cinematics and cut-scenes, big portions of the Tutorial part of the game including fights and dialogues, but most notably, the sex scenes.
It is kind of a nightmare to be honest and there is a lot to do, but we have set up a solid plan to get it done by the end of the year.

Starting last month, we commenced working on switching to an entirely non flash system and some of the things we have redone or converted will be released with the new update.
Converting the sex scenes to something like an html5 format proved to be impossible. Too many elements, not to mention all the scripts (and our scenes are script heavy), simply cannot be converted with existing apps. We would have to redo them all almost from scratch. So, on top of starting to just work with new apps for our future animations, we came up with a dirty solution for the existing ones.
We have converted a number of them in formats like .exe and .app which will open in a separate window. This might sound dirty but it solves a number of problems. First and foremost, Flash will simply not run anymore and we can't just lose something like 100 scenes made so far. Secondly, if we had to redo all of them in an html5 format it would take maybe a years' time? This would also entail very little new content being produced. Thirdly, as some of you have experienced, and although the flash scenes we produce are optimized for performance, some sex scenes, depending on the machine running the game, may experience varying degrees of lag when run through Unity. We have posted some operations in our "How To" to help with this issue but, we are now hoping that this new approach will allow to bypass the problem.
Ultimately, we found this to be the most logical solution as it tackles 3 of the main issues the game is facing.

So what will this update feature in terms of content that was previously in Flash?

- Sex Archive
The Sex Archive will see an upgrade as it has been redone in a downloadable archive and every scene it opens will be an actual self contained software in both PC and Mac formats.
This means that you can access the Sex Archive and its contents even when offline.

- Hell Map & World Map
Both maps have been reworked & all the scenes they open will now work under the new system described above.

- Full Body Views
The Full Body Views available in the Ego Chamber showing scenes presenting various characters are now all running on non flash systems.

Ok those are all the news for the moment, we will release more details on the update with the update itself and as always, we will keep you posted on any news of interest as well as a number of upcoming changes.
