Shooting, editing and rendering in 4k is a huge hassle. 1) It uses up a huge amount of hard drive space. Hard drive space is one our major expenses by the way. We go through several terabytes of space a month. 2) It chokes the video editing software which slows down editing time. 3) Most video already take a few hours to render in full HD. A 4k video can take 8 hours to render. 4) The majority of people are watching our videos on cell phones anyways. For that 4k is overkill. 5) Our videos already look amazing in full HD on a 65 inch 4k TV in my den. 6) The cameras that we have will shoot 1080p and 60 FPS or 4K at 30 FPS. I personally prefer 1080p at 60 FPS than 4k at 30 FPS. All of our videos are shot at 60 FPS now. That's basically the quality level of a good Bluray.

Question. What happened to the super high res camera videos and quality? I noticed the newer videos aren't in 2k/4k. Will you be going back to that? Thanks!
