Lord Charles’ favourite catch phrase was “You damn silly arse,” and it was always aimed at Alan when he’d make a mistake in Lord Charles’ presence. That catch phrase perfectly embodied how the Sirs, Lords and Ladies of British society no doubt felt about the great, unwashed working class Britons, and conversely how those Britons saw those people as nothing more than rich, upper class British twits who had never done a hard days work in their whole life!
