2025-07-16 08:56:35 +0000 UTCThanks for a great reaction. Funny as that was, he made so many great points. There's NO WAY I'd go into a Pub full of everyone I'm 'friends' with on Facebook! Ex-Girlfriends I'd rather circumnavigate the globe in order to to avoid, people I went to School with but didn't really like, third cousins I've never even met & then there's people I've never met in person who sent me friend requests based on conversations I once had in group chats! Monty Python did a great sketch based on someone visiting someone elses house based on a single random encounter at a pub. It's called The Visitors - hilarious! I recall laughing about this with someone once, that if you take a walk in the street and people on your friends list walked past, the chances are you wouldn't even recognise them! Kind of like the sort of person who will just start talking to you on a random bus journey & you hope to god you'll never see again. Would be one to avoid for me lol!
