ALAN so glad you're finally seeing whole episodes rather than out of context clips. In future episodes I'd high recommend having a medical team standing by, in case of death though laughter. Don't know if anyone has pointed out to you, that Micheal Crawford did all his own stunts in this show and quite often get injured in the process. Micheal is also a world class theatre singer and was the first person to play The Phantom of the opera in Andrew Lloyd Webber London show. This was the only tv work ge ever did apart from a few movies. Enjoy My friend..

Although we don't see an example of it in this episiode, Michael Crawford did all of his own stunts, some of which were pretty dangerous! I think you nailed it with saying about peoples reactions to him. What I think gives this show its humour is a man who could try the patience of a saint coupled with people who had no patience! this series is well worth watching. I have the first 2 series on DVD. I want to get the rest which includes the last one, a Christmas special 'learning to fly' &, well, you can imagine!

Great to see you reacting to this king of comedies, even if it took moving to another website engine to make it happen. The street scenes outside the shop where Frank goes for the interview were actually filmed in Herne Bay, a town I used to live in when I was small. (It also features in another episode) I remember starting to watch and love this show at the time before my family I moved up to Sheffield. Keep going with mate, you're doing great.
