2024-07-30 02:04:08 +0000 UTCI love the fact that there is a point in each film of the David Lean trilogy (Lawrence of Arabia, Dr Zhivago and Bridge on the River Kwai) where the key message in all of them (the futility of war) just creeps up on you, and you kind of 'get it'. This is one of the greatest anti-war films ever made.
