When you consider that my grandmother was living on ten pounds a year - I've rounded that up a little - as a scullery maid in Hampstead in 1901, that kind of money isn't shabby indeed!

2024-03-08 11:50:16 +0000 UTCThe problem is with poor old Blackadder is that he is actually too generous. He continually underestimates the lack of intelligence of both the Prince and Baldrick. Even after all this time, he doesn't quite want to grasp how thick they both are. He keeps on telling them, but can't quite get a hold of it himself. I would put anything of mine in such dangerous circumstances as being in the proximity of those two!
