I think I was in my mid to late 20's when the IRA ceasefire was announced which led to the Good Friday Agreement. I saw the aftermath of the Bishopsgate bomb and felt the windows on my house shake when the Canary Wharf bomb went off. As young person this time was horrific and scary but I'm thankful that my children don't have to live though this. I think this episode is even more poignant today with the horrors playing out in the Middle East where hope must be the only game I town.

2023-06-18 22:24:54 +0000 UTCDon't use subs at all. It's rare I don't hear what's being said. For stuff that's regional or local references or colloquialisms I wouldn't get it any better with subs on.
