Apparently the weird, fat-looking Akatsuki dude is the one that creates sleeper agents by putting some kind of seal in their minds. (We know for a fact he did it to the high-ranking Sand Village guy who is helping them enter.) The comment he made in passing, that you picked up on, was that he apparently did that to SOMEONE and sent them after Orochimaru. But the seal was broken and that person betrayed the Akatsuki. You guessed that person was Kabuto or Kimimaro, which are fair guesses, considering they're loyal to Orochimaru... Or maybe Orochimaru has followers we don't know about Either way, nice train of thought. Doesnt matter right now though, so just tuck those thoughts in the back of your mind because its not relevant to their mission rn

Honorable mention Mob Psycho, Mashle, One Punch Man, DandaDan. Just my two cents though, whatever you choose will be brand new and hype. Spy x Family is also pretty hype too - my personal favorite anime, but definitely more of a comedy/slice of life so maybe not the vibe you want. Each episodes a banger

2025-08-28 00:04:25 +0000 UTCIf I would suggest three to choose from it'd probably be - Hunter x Hunter (great, lovable characters - peak moments/fights that are genuinely shocking, not crazy long, about Naruto length) / Death Note (more analytical/true crime if you like that - a classic with intriguing, dark plot); and / hate to be cliche, but One Piece (huge anime with world building equal to Naruto, arguably more likable characters than Naruto if you can believe it). I agree with Ron - My Hero can be a slog and the quality can drop pretty dramatically...I get annoyed when content creators start that one lol, but that's my own issue haha. Bleach probably want to watch with Ron too.
